Wolseley Canada announces scholarships for women in trades

Wolseley Canada has announced three $1,000 entrance scholarships designed to assist women who demonstrate financial need and are entering the plumbing and HVAC pre-apprenticeship programs at Herzing College.
The announcement was made during a Women in HVAC networking event hosted by the Herzing College in Toronto, where Wolseley Canada was sponsor.
The event was held to bring attention to the underrepresented role of women in traditionally male-dominated fields and provide support for those entering the plumbing and HVAC industries.
Pam Warwick and Jill Breeze, both representing the Women of Wolseley Business Resource Group, participated in the event.
Herzing College offers plumbing and HVAC pre-apprenticeship programs at its Toronto and Cambridge, Ont. locations.
