February 27, 2024 – Electro-Federation Canada’s 2024 Scholarship Program has launched, with $165,000 available to university and college students across dozens of scholarships.

The program is supported by numerous EFC members—companies that manufacture, distribute, market, and sell a range of electrical products.

“The EFC Scholarship Program is an important initiative where EFC, through its membership, is making a significant impact in growing potential industry talent through educational financial support to Canadian students,” said Catherine McKeown, chair, EFC Scholarship Committee.

Students who are pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technologist/Technician, Industrial Distribution, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain/Operations, Logistics, Data Analytics Management, or Information Technology are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible, you must:

• be a Canadian citizens or permanent resident who has completed your first year at a recognized university or college in Canada
• have maintained a minimum 75% average
• be registered in a full-time 2024 eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program
• be enrolled in your program and attending school in Fall 2024/Winter 2025 semesters

Applicants may apply for a total of three (3) scholarships and, for all scholarships, preference will be given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company.

“The scholarship program is a fantastic way that our members can promote our industry, support the communities where we serve, and solidify our collective business success and growth,” McKeown added.

Applications are being accepted now. The deadline to apply is June 7, 2024.
