The Honourable Carla Qualtrough is the Member of Parliament for Delta and the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.

As a human rights lawyer, Minister Qualtrough is a passionate advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities. A Federal Minister since 2015, she led the creation of the Accessible Canada Act, the Canada Emergency Response Benefit, and Canada’s first-ever Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

Currently, Minister Qualtrough is leading the charge on supporting workers, helping more Canadians enter the workforce and creating a Canada Disability Benefit which will lift tens of thousands of persons with disabilities out of poverty.
