August 4, 2022 – Do you know an electricity industry professional who demonstrates commitment and efforts to advance the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace?

If so, Electricity Human Resources Canada wants your nomination for Agent of Change (2022).

This national award recognizes and celebrates an individual who champions DEI in the workplace, says EHRC. “They are role models who inspire those around them and lead others by their actions while advocating for change.”

EHRC will recognize the 2022 recipient at Agents of Change 2022: The Power of Change in October. This two-day event focuses on equipping attendees with the tools they need to address the challenges under-represented groups face in the workplace.

To submit a nomination for the 2022 Agent of Change Award, fill out and submit the completed Nomination Form (DOWNLOAD PDF), along with any related files that would support the nomination, and email Marie Mould at mould@electricityhr.ca with the Subject Line “Agent of Change Award Nomination”.

Nominate today! You have until September 12 to submit the nomination (DOWNLOAD PDF).

Last year, Ontario Power Generation’s Nirav Patel (vice-president, HR) was recognized as EHRC’s Agent of Change.

“Nirav is a true Agent of Change, and a fierce advocate for equitable and inclusive policies and practices—both within his own organization and the broader electricity community,” said Michelle Branigan, EHRC’s CEO.

Electricity Human Resources Canada is a source of human resource and labour market information for Canada’s electricity industry, offering tools for guiding business planning and development.
